The name ‘Honeycomb’ comes from the idea that how we work together is important, but the outcomes we create are our most important focus. We believe in the aspirational power of a team, where we prioritize the needs of our teammates and co-own each other’s success. A swarm of bees isn’t perfect, and neither are we, but by truly committing to each other, honoring our place in the team, and getting better at being partners with one another, the results we create can be as intricately awesome as a honeycomb filled with honey. Teams that move into a state of collaborative harmony transcend many of the barriers to collaboration and cohesion, are easier to lead and get results more quickly.
Melanie Proshchenko, the Founder of Honeycomb Teams, has an extensive background in team development across diverse industries worldwide. Originally focusing on developing leaders within organizations, she realized the unrealistic expectations placed on leaders and observed that when she shifted the focus to developing team capability and empowering teams to support themselves and each other, the return on investment exceeded that of traditional leadership development.
Melanie is passionate about helping teams prosper, whether it’s in times of growth, change, or everyday business. She specializes in taking high-performing individuals and partnering with them in transformation through coaching, team workshops, off-sites, and consulting. Melanie resides in sunny San Diego and loves burritos and spending weekends lost in the mountains.
